Plant Family: Mustard (Brassicaceae)
Lifespan: Perennial
Origin: North America
Growing: They prefer sunny positions and does well in almost any soil. Very easy to grow.
Edible Uses: The leaves and young shoots are edible but in our opinion, the flowering tops are the best food part of this plant.
Permaculture Uses: It produces tons of biomass and is a great mulch crop and dynamic accumulator. Produces almost as much biomass as comfrey.
