Growing: Prefers full sun with well drained and rich soil. Very easy to grow. Can exceed 8 feet in height.
Edibility: The stalks, stems and leaves are eaten similar to celery. A great potherb for soups.
Medicinal uses: Used for the treatment of colic and bronchitis. Also a great herb for the digestive system.
Permaculture Uses: Great pollinator since it’s in the carrot parsley family. Also one of the most resilient and productive food crops we have in the garden.
